Molly Ringwald is in Granada Hills RIGHT NOW. Her series, "The Secret Life Of The American Teenager" is shooting at Kennedy High School this week. It's a closed set, so since I couldn't get photos, this painting of Molly by artist Dave MacDowell will have to do.

No comprehensive coverage, no pithy commentary, no insightful analysis, no penetrating, in-depth interview could ever even come close to capturing the spirit, the essence, and the zeitgeist of the Granada Hills Street Faire as simply and elegantly as this footage does. On Thursday, October 1, The Cigar Lounge is hosting a national launch party for Room 101 cigars from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There'll be tastings, cigar specials, food and beverages, and there's no cover charge. The Cigar Lounge will be the first store in the nation to offer the Room 101 brand, which is blended and rolled by Camacho Cigars. The Cigar Lounge's owner, Ashley (no last name, just Ashley) describes The Cigar Lounge as "not the typical cash-and-carry cigar store." It's truly a lounge, with a large seating area, TVs, and "a good mix of guys -- kind of a grown man's den. FINALLY! The Kogi BBQ Truck is going to be in GRANADA HILLS tonight !!! From 10:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Granada Hills residents will be able to savor the goodness of Korean BBQ in Mexican form right in our own backyard: at the corner of Zelzah and Chatsworth. Their web site lists the location as "Northridge," which I would find unforgivable if their tacos weren't so damned good. Believe the hype: go.
