Bricks Still Available At Veterans Park
The following is a message from John Weitcamp. ********************** Dear Friends: Veterans’ Day has just been celebrated as we saluted those who serve our country or have in the past. The difference this year is that we did so with our own Granada Hills Veterans Park now in place. Thanks to the efforts of the Granada Hills Rotary Foundation, the “triangle” has been completely refurbished with the installation of a pergola (thanks to the generous contributions of the Granada Hills Improvement Association), new landscaping, brick and cement work, flagpoles, monument and statue (thanks to the generous contribution of Jake Parunyan, the 2009 Gil Benjamin Granada Hills Citizen of the Year.)
