Where's My Carnival?

On Friday, I posted that there was going to be a carnival at Granada Hills Recreation Center. But readers who headed over to Petit Park for the advertised event found themselves standing not in a carnival filled with, as the flyer promised, "Food, Carnival Rides & Games, Fun," but standing outdoors in 78 degree weather, in a wide open green space with nothing but grass beneath their feet and a canopy of trees overhead. For this I offer my sincerest apologies. My information came from the Winter 2011 Granada Hills Recreation Center catalog, pictured at right. I suggest a reasonable course of action would be to go to Granada Hills Recreation Center with a large, intimidating gang of black-leather-jacketed motorcycle enthusiasts and demand an explanation. And when you get one, please let me know what they said.
